Wool (all kind): Preferably use the wool or handwash program in your machine with cold water and wool-specific detergent. Avoid spinning (or max spin 400rpm). Handwashing in cold water with wool detergent is an alternative. Dry flat.

Mohair: Handwash with a gentle, natural detergent in cold water. Dry flat.

Silk: Handwash with a natural detergent in cold water. Avoid mixing colors. Dry flat.

Cotton (including blends): Machine wash at 40°C with a max spin of 1200 rpm, using any detergent. Air dry on a rack.

Linen: Use a delicate program with cold water (or max 20°C) and a max spin of 800 rpm. Dry on a rack.
- Leather: For leather items, hydrate three times a year with a fragrance-free, oil-free body lotion or makeup remover from the supermarket.
- Blends: For cotton blends with acetate, viscose, polyester, or acrylic, machine wash at 40°C with a max spin of 1200 rpm. For items with even a small percentage of wool, use a gentle cycle with cold water and a max spin of 400 rpm or handwash.
